What We Think
Prior to the release of Rip Curl’s new Flash Bomb, the F-Bomb was definitely one of our favorites. It delivers the flexibility and warmth you need, but is super light and incredibly easy to move in.
At just over $400, it’s not the cheapest wetsuit out there. We don’t recommend a suit like this if you’re just starting out or are on a budget. There are cheaper wetsuits that will get the job done.
However, if you’ve been around the pier a few times and are looking to upgrade your current wetsuit, then you need to check out the Rip Curl Ultimate F-Bomb.

Wetsuits Similar to the 4/3mm Men’s Rip Curl Ultimate F-Bomb Wetsuit

Hi, I just had my first surf with the new 5/4 RipCurl FlashBomb and boots in the frigid north atlantic here in Halifax Nova Scotia. In my 6 + years experience as an avid surfer I have never experienced such a well designed wetsuit! This suit combines the insulating properties comparable to Xcel suits with the flexibility of the Oneil suits. The paddle zones are amazing and the quick drying insulation and hood construction surpasses any suit on the market! The durability of this suit is yet to be determined but if it last as long as some of my best suits i will probably be forever loyal to RipCurl products!
