BUY NOWReview: If you think that you have to sacrifice warmth for flexibility in a 4/3mm wetsuit, then listen closely…
That’s the sound of the Rip Curl Flash Bomb 4/3mm Chest Zip fullsuit proving you wrong. You get it all with this suit and that’s why it’s rockin’ 5 stars.
What We Think
We were giant fans of Rip Curl’s F Bomb. But like the McRib, girls wearing overalls with half shirts and 4 Locos energy drink/booze in can; all great things must come to an end.
Rip Curl stopped making the F Bomb (you can still find some around if you’re really big or really small), but from the ashes of that awesome suit rose the Flash Bomb.
Warning: You may want to shield your eyes from it’s glory the first time you’re in it’s presence…
Here’s why we dig it:
People a lot smarter than you or I made this fullsuit with a new weaving technology that combines two E3 neoprene layers together. The first layer lets water through to the second layer, allowing your body to heat it up and insulate you quicker. Then when you hang it up, the second layer ditches the water as quick as possible for insane drying time.
Speaking of drying time, with Rip Curl’s exclusive Flash Lining, your suit will be dry to the touch in about 30 minutes. Yeah, no more putting on wet and cold suits!
If you’re rocking a 4/3 fullsuit, you’re after some serious warmth and that is what the Flash Bomb delivers. In conjunction with the new quick drying design, you also get Rip Curl’ s stitchless technology that uses double taped and glued seams to keep even more water out. The wind and water resistant chest panel will help you lock in even more of that precious body heat.
And you don’t have to worry about any trade off with flexibility for all these innovations. The entire suit is made from superstretch E3 Elastomax neoprene and has four way stretch panels. There are no seams on the shoulders or in the underarms to slow you down either.
Sounds like you’re running out of reasons to pick one of these up.

Having no stitching as 2 major benefits:
